Range Qualification
This class is for those who have successfully completed the Texas Online License to Carry class (from any instructor) and need to complete the Range Demonstration of Proficiency to obtain their LTC 101 to complete their LTC application.
Discount for students who complete our (Defender CHL) Texas Online LTC course.
You must know how to shoot and demonstrate proficiency before coming to the range.
If you need to learn to shoot before this portion please consider the Beginners Handgun Class
You will need to bring a handgun and 50 rounds of ammo (FMJ Brass case only). If you do not have a handgun you may rent one $12 and purchase ammo at the range.
Range fee not included
Semi-Auto or Revolver is ok, .22lr caliber is ok as well.

Once you successfully complete the online portion you will be given a LTC 101 form which you will need to take with you for the range portion. Once you have completed both you will send the completed LTC 101 form to the DPS to complete your Texas DPS application for your license.
