Our beginners handgun/License to Carry class is for those needing to learn to shoot a handgun or just needing a refresher and want to obtain their License to Carry. It offers small class size and personal instruction in the class and at the range. Following the handgun training you will return to the classroom for the License to Carry Course This is our most popular class
Texas License to Carry Class Only
Our License to Carry class is for those who wish to obtain their license to carry a handgun in Texas. This class covers the application process, safety, storage, use of force laws, restrictions and related weapons laws needed to pass the LTC exam and obtain your LTC certificate to send in to the state with your License to Carry application. This is not a handgun training class. you must know how to shoot before attending this class.
Online LTC Range Qualification
This is for the range only portion for those that have completed the online Texas LTC/CHL class. We can certify anyone who has completed the online portion either from us or another site.
Beginners Handgun
Our beginners handgun class is just that. For anyone, ladies, children, youth or anyone wanting to learn to shoot a handgun. We cover safety, shooting fundamentals, sight picture and you will also demonstrate what you have learned at the range. This class does not include the LTC carry portion. Consider the Beginners Combo for that.

“Just finished my beginners combo and chl course with Gary Pierce. I am brand new to guns, no previous knowledge and or even touched or held a gun. The beginner combo class is perfect for people like me, with little experience. He taught me about gun safety, how to hold the gun, stances, and how to aim. After about three hours you will get to shoot a real loaded gun at the range. The first set is practice and the second set, use for passing the chl.
The afternoon was spent on chl, state laws and federal laws. Although it is boring but necessary, Gary will get you the knowledge you need to pass. He tells great stories and real life scenarios.
You learn when to use your gun and most importantly think and be safe using your gun. Highly recommended, I would do this over again if I had to!”
